Non-domestic producer price index increased by 0.04%
Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period, increased by 0.04% on monthly basis, by 6.81% on December of the previous year basis, by 26.38% on same month of the previous year basis and by 12.26% on the twelve months moving averages basis in April 2017.

ND-PPI monthly decreased by 0.18% in the index for mining and stone quarrying and increased by 0.05% in the index for manufacturing.

The highest monthly increase was in coke and refined petroleum products
The highest rates of monthly increase by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 5.99%, for chemicals and chemical products by 1.47%, and for metal ores by 1.21%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for printing and recording services by 3.22%, for beverages by 2.20% and for wearing apparel by 1.60%.

The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in energy goods
According to main industrial groupings classification, the highest rates of monthly and annual increases were in energy goods in April 2017.
