Regarding the vehicle registrations in August, cars accounted for 54.5%, followed by motorcycles 24.5%, small trucks 13.1%, tractors 4.5%, trucks 1.7%, minibus 0.7%, special purpose vehicles 0.5% and bus 0.5%.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 25.2% compared with the previous month
In August, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 24.6% and 1.1% for special purpose vehicles and tractors while it decreased by 31.9%, 21.3%, 18.1%, 16.2%, 13.2% and 6.6% for, cars, buses, motorcycles, small trucks, minibuses and trucks respectively.
The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 165.6% compared with the same month of the previous year
In August, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 1209.3%, 274.5%, 234.5%, 208.5%, 190.8%, 185.0%, 139.3% and 94.5% for special purpose vehicles, small trucks, trucks, minibuses, cars, buses, tractors, and motorcycles respectively.
At the end of August, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 23 million 753 thousand 664
At the end of August, cars represented 54.1%, small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 14.6%, tractors 8.1%, trucks 3.6%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.9% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.
833 thousand 749 road motor vehicles handed over in August
Among vehicles handed over(1) in August, cars accounted for 70.7% followed by small trucks 15.4%, motorcycles 6.5%, tractors 2.9%, trucks 2.0%, minibuses 2.0%, buses 0.4% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%.
In August, 56 thousand 592 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in August, Fiat recorded 13.8%, Renault 12.2%, Volkswagen 8.7%, Opel 6.2%, Ford 6.1%, Peugeot 5.4%, Audi 5.1%, Skoda 4.7%, Dacia 4.6%, Toyota 4.6%, Hyundai 4.2%, BMW 3.6%, Nissan 3.3%, Citroen 3.1%, Mercedes-Benz 2.6%, Seat 2.5%, Kia 2.2%, Honda 1.9%, Jeep 1.3%, Volvo 1.0% and the other trademarks 2.9% of the total.
In the period of January-August total road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 630 thousand 811
In January-August period compared to the same period of previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased by 50.2% and became 630 thousand 811, while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 81.6% and became 32 thousand 4. Hence, in the period of January-August the increase in motor vehicles registered became 598 thousand 807.
In the period of January-August the ratio of cars registered using gasoline was 48.5%
Among 354 thousand 833 cars registered in the period of January-August, the share of gasoline-fuelled cars was 48.5% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 42.9%, LPG-fuelled cars with 5.6% and electric or hybrid cars with 3.0%. At the end of August, among 12 million 853 thousand 573 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 38.3% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 37.0% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.2%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.2% and the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
Most frequent engine size was 1401-1500 for registered cars in the period of January-August
Within 354 thousand 833 cars registered to traffic in January-August period, 31.7% had 1401-1500, 25.1% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 22.7% had 1300 or less, 13.9% had 1301-1400, 5.5% had 1601-2000, 0.9% had 2001 and above.
In the period of January-August 171 thousand 22 of cars registered were white
Within 354 thousand 833 cars registered to traffic in January-August period, 48.2% of them were white, 26.2% were grey, 7.3% were black, 7.1% were blue, 6.7% were red, 1.6% were orange, 1.4% were brown, 0.7% were yellow, 0.2% were green and 0.6% were in other colours.
