Producer Price Index of Agricultural Products, July 2020 in Turkey
Agriculture-PPI (2015=100) on the previous month increased by 0.49%, on December of the previous year increased by 9.02%, on same month of the previous year increased by 16.28% and on the twelve months moving averages basis increased by 13.86% in July 2020.
Compared to the previous month in sectors; forestry products and related services increased by 0.13% products of agriculture, hunting and related services increased by 0.46% and fishing products and other fishing products increased by 2.04%. Regarding monthly changes by main groups; non-perennial crops decreased by 0.41%, perennial crops increased by 0.51% and live animals and animal products increased by 1.54%.

The lowest annual increase was 8.81% in vegetables and melons, roots and tubers subgroup
In July 2020, poultry, live and eggs where lowest annual increase realized with 9.42% on the same month of the previous year. On the other hand, pome fruits and stone fruits with 22.92%, cereals (except rice), leguminous crops and oil seeds with 20.40% and fibre plants with 19.72% were the subgroups where high annual increases realized on the same month of the previous year.

The highest monthly decrease was 5.66% in pome fruits and stone fruits subgroup
In July 2020, the other group that indicated decreases were rice (in hulk) with 4.04% and vegetables and melons, roots and tubers with 3.16% amongst the subgroups. On the other hand, poultry, live and eggs with 6.28%, other tree and bush fruits and nuts with 2.59% and sheep and goats, live; raw milk and shorn wool from sheep and goats with 2.24% were the subgroups where high monthly increases realized.

In July 2020 within average prices of 87 items in the index; the average prices of 30 items decreased and the average prices of 14 items remained unchanged while the average prices of 43 items increased.
