Agriculture PPI increased by 2.05% in April
Producer price index of agricultural products (Agriculture – PPI) increased on the previous month by 2.05%, on December of the previous year basis increased by 9.15%, on same month of the previous year increased by 17.25% and on the twelve months moving averages basis increased by 6.07% in April 2017.
Compared to the previous month; agriculture and hunting products increased by 2.06%, fishing increased by 5.03%, but forestry products decreased by 1.66%.
The highest monthly increase was in perennial crops
Monthly changes by main groups; perennial crops products increased by 9.10%, non – perennial crops increased by 0.86% and live animals and animal products increased by 0.34%.
The vegetables from sub-agriculture groups increased by 1.24%
From sub-agriculture groups; there were increases for citrus fruits by 2.95%, for leguminous crops and oil seeds by 1.17% and for rice (in hulk) by 0.58%, but there were decreases for poultry, live and eggs by 8.94% and for fibre plants by 3.23%.
