Statistics of Established and Closed Companies in February 2020 in Turkey
The number of newly established Cooperatives increased by 15,79% in February 2020 with respect to previous month.
- The number of newly established companies and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 12,62% and 16,03% while the number of cooperatives increased by 15,79% according to the previous month.
- The number of closed companies, the number of closed cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 61,10% , 76,44% and 41,42% respectively according to the previous month.
The number of newly established Companies increased by 36,76% with respect to the same month of the previous year.
- The number of newly established companies , the number cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 36,76% , 69,23% and 45,09% respectively according to the same month of the previous year.
- The number of closed companies, the number closed cooperatives and the number of sole proprietorships increased by 31,84% , 2,50% and 0,59% according to the same month of the previous year.
The growth rate of companies, cooperatives, and sole proprietorships in February
In February 2020, 1.142 companies with foreign partners were established.
- In February 2020, 1.142 companies with foreign partners were established. 613 of these companies had Turkish partners, 110 had Iranian partners and 35 had Syrian partners.
Of the 1.142 foreign shareholding companies established, 99 are incorporated companies and 1.043 are limited liability companies. 256 of these companies conduct wholesale trade for stores in malls that are not allocated to a specific commodity; 119 are in real estate and 106 are in Management and other administrative consultancy services in the year 2020. Foreign capital partners’ capital investments constitute 78.11% of the total capital of foreign joint venture companies.
