Germany bans some iPhone models

Apple faces another strike as Germany puts a ban some iPhone models following conflit with its chip provider Qualcomm.

District Court of Munich detected that a feature that was developed by Qualcomm is used in some iPhone models.

This feature for power saving extends battery life.

Apple declared that iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 will not be sold in its 15 retail stores in Germany throughout the appeal process.

Earlier, China put sales bans on some iPhone models following Qualcomm’s claims.
