Ford Otosan Unveils New Technology in Automobile Production

One of Turkey’s leading carmakers, Ford Otosan announced that it has commissioned the self-colored, unpainted plastic parts production technology.
Being the only vehicle producer in Europe to appoint this new technology, Ford Otosan will use the unpainted plastic parts particularly in manufacturing of front bumpers. Mentioning the problematic issues encountered during plastic part production such as; complexity, high costs of painting, assembly, and logistics, the company says it will have a more efficient production process.
The statement read, “With V36X Bump Molds, for the first time, we also implemented a system that works integrated with the mold and solves numerous visual issues often encountered with the plastic visual parts.”
