Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 93.53% on annual basis, by 10.45% on monthly basis

D-PPI (2003=100) increased by 10.45% on monthly basis, by 10.45% on December of the previous year basis, by 93.53% on same month of the previous year basis and by 49.93% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2022.

Manufacturing increased by 90.29% annually

D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 86.51% for mining and stone quarrying, by 90.29% for manufacturing, by 138.48% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 25.88% for water supply, annually.

The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 106.40% for intermediate goods, by 58.49% for durable consumer goods, by 65.25% for non-durable consumer goods, by 142.06% for energy, by 63.25% for capital goods, annually.

Manufacturing increased by 10.16% monthly

D-PPI in four main sectors of industry increased by 17.36% for mining and stone quarrying, by 10.16% for manufacturing, by 10.62% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 8.61% for water supply, monthly.

The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 9.84% for intermediate goods, by 13.14% for durable consumer goods, by 10.66% for non-durable consumer goods, by 11.92% for energy, by 9.59% for capital goods, monthly.

Compared to general D-PPI, lower annual change observed in 20 subdivisions while 9 subdivisions were higher

The lowest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for water; water treatment and supply services by 25.88%, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 28.08%, for wearing apparel by 29.95%. On the other hand the highest rates of annual increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 180.75%, for crude petroleum and natural gas by 162.84%, for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 138.48%.

Compared to general D-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 16 subdivisions while 13 subdivisions were higher

The lowest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the indices for metal ores by 2.40%, for basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutic preparations by 2.86%, for basic metals by 5.39%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were index for coal and lignite by 32.33%, for other mining and quarrying products by 24.48%, for crude petroleum and natural gas by 21.17%.
