Are Rest Breaks Taken Into Account When Calculating Overtime?


Rest breaks are not taken into account when overtime is calculated. Rest breaks are not considered a part of work time.

For example;  If someone is working between the hours of 08:00-20:00 and resting for 1,5 hours total, their daily working time is not 12 hours but 10,5 hours.
