EU January trade data published

The statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) published the trade data of January.

Export from Euro area (EA19) was €183.4 billion, 2,5% higher compared to January 2018.

Import from the rest of the world was €181.8 billion, 3.4% higher compared to the same month of the previous year.

As a result, €1.5 billion trade surplus in goods with the rest of the world was recorded in January.
