What should companies do if they engage in commercial activities other than their subject of activities in tax signboard, in Turkey?

Can the company whose subject of activity is “construct- construction sale” in its tax signboard sell “textiles”? In other words, is it possible to manufacture, buy and sell finished products or sell them with outsource?

The instruction of the Ministry is to be registered in the trade registers as different enterprises for the different subject of activities. Therefore, you need a second company registration for your textile activity. However, a new field of operation can be added to your existing business in Istanbul.

You can apply for registration with a petition.

After registration, you must request your new “activity” code to be registered by the Revenue Office and the Chamber.
