In 2019, total number of published materials was 68 thousand 554 with an increase of 2.1% as compared with 2018. In 2019, 68 thousand 554 ISBN were given for 61 thousand 512 books, 415 electronic books (DVD, VCD, CD), 6 thousand 72 electronic books (web based), 186 talking books (cassette, CD, DVD) and 369 other materials.

The 28.3% of publications were published on educational issues

The 28.3% of the materials published in 2019 was on education, 18.2% was on adult fiction, 16.7% was academic, 16.3% was on adult culture, 15.1% was on children and adolescence, 5.4% on religion. For the language of published material, 90% was Turkish, 6.6% was English and 3.4% was of other languages.

The company’s aim to reshape its business for digital future resulted in some financial struggles.

The publishing giant announced pre-tax loss in 2017 as £13.6m.

It’s revenue came down from £121m to £113m.

The company’s profit was £6.6m in the previous year.

Conde Nast is the owner of popular magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ.
