İstanbul had the highest share with 16.8% and 19 thousand 89 house sales. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 8 thousand 812 house sales and İzmir with 6 thousand 338 house sales with the share of 7.8% and 5.6% respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Hakkari with 40, Ardahan with 49 and Gümüşhane with 98 house sales.

In January-September period, house sales increased by 11.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and became a million 57 thousand 193.

In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 43.0% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 16 thousand 970. Mortgaged house sales had 15.0% share of all house sales. In January-September period, mortgaged house sales increased by 25.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 228 thousand 601.

5 thousand 429 of mortgaged house sales in September and 60 thousand 777 of mortgaged house sales in January-September period were first hand sales.

In Türkiye, other house sales decreased by 17.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 96 thousand 432. Other house sales had 85.0% share of all house sales. In January-September period, other house sales increased by 8.0% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 828 thousand 592.

In Türkiye, first time house sales decreased by 18.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 35 thousand 954. First time sales had 31.7% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In January-September period, first time house sales increased by 8.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 312 thousand 118.

In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 24.9% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 77 thousand 448. Second hand sales had 68.3% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In January-September period, second hand house sales increased by 12.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 745 thousand 75.

House sales to foreigners decreased by 23.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 5 thousand 49. House sales to foreigners had 4.5% share of all house sales in September. İstanbul ranked first with a thousand 795 sales to foreigners. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with a thousand 585 house sales and Mersin with 335 house sales to foreigners.

House sales were mostly made to Russia citizens according to nationalities

In September, Russia citizens bought a thousand 196 houses from Türkiye. The followers of Russia citizens were Iran citizens with 592 house sales and Iraq citizens with 433 house sales.

The least mortgage house sales were realized in Ardahan and Bayburt with 1 house sales. Mortgaged houses sales were not sold in Hakkari and Şırnak.

Other house sales in Turkey became 59 thousand 855 by decreasing 16.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the other sales, İstanbul was the first province with 11 thousand 328 sales and 18.9% share. Other house sales had 82.9% share of all house sales in İstanbul. Ankara was the second province with 5 thousand 375 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 3 thousand 291 sales. The least other house sales was realized in Hakkari with 10 house sales.

In the January-May period, sales of mortgaged houses was 164 thousand 870 and increased by 118.2%, and in other types of sales, it was 269 thousand 887 and decreased by 26.8%. Houses sold for the first time in this period was 139 thousand 140 decreased by 23.9%. Second-hand house sales was 295 thousand 617 and also increased by 13.0%.

In house sales to foreigners became 860 by decreasing 78.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. İstanbul was the first province with 423 sales in May 2020. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 130 house sales, Ankara with 72 house sales, İzmir with 38 house sales and Mersin with 29 house sales.

Other house sales had 59.9% share of all house sales in İstanbul. Ankara was the second province with 2 286 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 1 372 sales. The least other house sales was realized in Hakkari with 4 house sales.

In the January-April period, sales of mortgaged houses was 146 387 and increased by 141.4%, and in other types of sales, it was 237 434 and decreased by 18.6%. Houses sold for the first time in this period was 122 280 decreased by 16.0%. Second-hand house sales was 261 541 and also increased by 26.4%.

In house sales to foreigners became 790 by decreasing 78.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. İstanbul was the first province with 374 sales in April 2020. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 150 house sales, Ankara with 47 house sales, İzmir with 30 house sales and Yalova with 25 house sales.

Most house sales were made to Iraq citizens according to country nationalities

Iraq citizens bought 781 houses from Turkey in September. The followers of Iraq were Iran with 489 house sales, Russia with 248 house sales, Saudi Arabia with 214 house sales and Kuwait with 191 house sales.

For the house sales of April 2017, İstanbul had the highest share of house sales with 17.5% and 20 066 sold house. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 13 364 house sales and 11.7% and İzmir 7 170 house sales and 6.3%. The least house sold provinces were Hakkari with 4 house sales, Ardahan with 8 house sales, Şırnak with 18 house sales.

The mortgaged house sales throughout Turkey became 43 334 by increasing 29.6% compared to the same month of the previous year. House sales with mortgage had a 37.9% share of all house sales in Turkey. Most of house sales with mortgage was in İstanbul with 8 546 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that has most house sales with mortgage share with 19.7%. Mortgaged house sales had the highest share in Ardahan with 87.5% of all house sales.

Other house sales in Turkey became 71 112 by decreasing 2.5% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the other sales, İstanbul was the first province with 11 520 sales and 16.2% share. Other house sales had 57.4% share of all house sales in İstanbul. Ankara was the second province with   8 047 sales. Ankara was followed by İzmir with 4 149 sales. The least other house sales was realized in  Ardahan with 1 house sales.

First house sales in Turkey became 51 988 by increasing 10.8% compared to the same month of the previous year. First house sales had 45.4% share of all house sales in Turkey. The most first house sales was in İstanbul with 9 380 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that had most first house sales share with 18%. The followers of İstanbul  were Ankara with  5 206  house  sales and İzmir with 2 872 house sales.

Ownership of 62 458 houses changed by second hand sales
Second hand house sales in Turkey became 62 458 by increasing 5.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. In the second hand sales, İstanbul was the first province again with 10 686 sales and 17.1% share. Share of the second hand sales was 53.3% in İstanbul in total house sales. Ankara was the second province with 8 158 sales and Ankara was followed by İzmir with 4 298 sales.

In house sales to foreigners became 1 624 by increasing 2.7% compared to the same month of the previous year. İstanbul was the first province with 571 sales in April 2017. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 385 house sales, Bursa with 109 house sales, Trabzon with 97 house sales, Yalova with 69 house sales and Ankara with 65 house sales.

Most house sales were made to Iraqi citizens according to country nationalities
Iraqi citizens bought 245 houses from Turkey in April. The followers of Iraq were Saudi Arabia with 185 house sales, Kuwait with 169 house sales, Russia with 99 house sales and Afghanistan with 81 house sales.

Most of house sales with mortgage was in İstanbul with 9 661 sales. İstanbul was the first province in Turkey ranking that has most house sales with mortgage share with 19.2%. Mortgaged house sales had the highest share in Artvin with 59.1% of all house sales.

Iraqi citizens bought 323 houses from Turkey in March. The followers of Iraq were Saudi Arabia with 148 house sales, Kuwait with 139 house sales, Russia with 115 house sales and Afghanistan with 112 house sales.
