On the other hand, the International Monetary Fund had insisted it would only take part in the emergency loan programme if there were debt relief.

The head of IMF Christine Lagarde claimed that Greek debt has a long road ahead in order to fight against its debts and they haven’t made a progress with the negotiations.

On the other hand, countries in Euro zone, especially Germany, do not want Greek debt to be relieved.
