Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI) is the 5th largest bottler in the Coca-Cola system in terms of sales volume. CCI’s core business is producing, selling and distributing sparkling and still beverages of The Coca-Cola Company. CCI employs over 10,000 people and has operations in Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Tajikistan.

CCI has a total of 24 plants and offers a wide range of beverages to a consumer base of more than 370 million people. In addition to sparkling beverages, the product portfolio includes juices, water, sports and energy drinks, tea and iced teas. CCI operates in growth markets that are generally characterized by low per capita consumption, growing GDP and very promising demographics.

Following the acquisition of Efes Invest in late 2005, CCI evolved from a bottling operation active only in Turkey to a regional beverage company. While rapidly expanding its geographic reach and investments, CCI also registered uninterrupted volume growth during this period. The successful results, in line with 2020 vision of CCI, are directly linked to the importance attached to operational excellence, business leadership and sustainability, as well as to the investments made so far.

CCI’s IPO on Borsa Istanbul (BIST) was successfully completed in May 2006. CCI was content with both the response to its business model and the show of confidence from domestic and international investors, which led to the IPO being oversubscribed eleven fold.

Today CCI operates in ten different countries and is a pioneer in the region with its sustainable business model. CCI is committed to productivity, innovation and continuous improvement at each stage of its business. Being the first company that published a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report certified by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in 2007 in Turkey, CCI transparently and comprehensively discloses its social, environmental and economic impact. Continuously increasing its reporting level in sustainability each year, CCI published its 2013 report according to the latest GRI G4 standards. In 2013 CCI became the first and the only company within Turkey and the Coca-Cola system to be listed in the GC 100 index by the UN Global Compact. In 2013, CCI started its 3.2.1 Move! social responsibility program in secondary schools in Turkey, which aims to develop the habit of active healthy living among youth. The program has so far mobilized more than 50,000 youth for more active and healthy living.

Coca-Cola Icecek, with a total annual turnover of TRY 5.98 billion and a total sales volume of 1.13 billion unit cases in 2014, continues adding happiness to the life of its hundreds of millions consumers by offering the best quality products.
